Clover and my knitting
Well, this is my new kitty named Clover. She is a Sphynx cat, which explains her lack of fur! She is very crazy! I made her this sweater. It's among my first knitting projects. (It's a little too big) I made up the pattern myself. I'm having fun learning to knit!

I loved this book!
This Book is really great. It helps a person to view people (including oneself) in a Christ like way. I would recommend this to anyone. It takes a lot of thinking to get the concepts, but it is so great and really helped me!!! I plan to read it again right away. The author is C.Terry Warner.

Fall Fun
We had a very fun halloween. Erick's family had a Halloween party on Friday the 30th. There were games and food and music and prizes. Jessica did a great job with it. I won a Jillee Willee case, which is so cute! Stephen and Emma won the Mr. and Mrs. Halloween prize. You can see why. These pictures don't do justice (my camera was set wrong I think, I don't know why these pics are so blurry!!!) they looked like they came right off the movie set of Grease. With a little alteration in the story, since Sandy was 8 months pregnant! We also went to Carson's 2nd birthday party last week, on Thursday. Mary made the adorable train Birthday cake. There was a clown there, painting these awesome faces on the kids! We also went to the Pumpkin walk in Logan with Beck, Erick and kids and Stephen and Emma. Lots of fall fun!

I've been ignoring the blog for a long time. Our summer has been great. I can't believe it's getting close to the end. We recently took a trip to Zion's National park with Tony and Mary and family and Stephen and Emma. We camped in a beautiful setting with red rock mountains all around. I loved it! Tony and Mary planned it all and they did a good job!

Well, It's Thursday, the 30th, I'm at the Denver airport waiting for my flight to SLC. Thought I'd add a few pictures to the blog to entertain myself and any of you that look. I will be spending 2 weeks in Utah, and then unless Lee has to start work sooner in Utah, I'll return to Mo. to help with the move. The company will be mooving us, which makes it much easier. I've already prepared quite a bit, but the place will need to be cleaned well before we are through there. Lee's friend from work, Jim Kale, is renting our place for the next year. Maybe then we'll try again to sell it. Well, here's a picture of Lee with Elder Marston and Elder Struthers. They will be moving out of our house in the next week or so. Elder Struthers was a greeny when he came about 2 months ago. What great young men they are. We've enjoyed sharing our place with them.
I thought you would love to see my second gnome playmat, so check it out above......

Well, Hi everyone, I saw some little scenes made of felt like this online so thought I'd give it a try. They are actually a toy for kids to play with. Notice the little gnome girl on the bench under the mushroom. She is also peeking out of the window in some of the pics. I need to make a boy. If you want to see some really cool felt play mats google Sage Dream Designs. They are really cool!

Elder Whiting was transfered finally. He's been here 7 months. Now we have Elder Struthers. He's brand new, I'm sure he'll do great. We'll miss Elder Whiting!
